Head of EMEA Regulatory Affairs, J.P. Morgan
Claudia Gonzalez Cabanillas is Head of EMEA Regulatory Affairs at JPMorgan. Claudia joined the firm in 2013 and she currently overseas the regulatory policy work and advocacy strategy for all Financial Policy Initiatives in the EU and UK. Claudia’s team is responsible for analyzing and determining the firm's views on regulatory policy proposals and identifying the appropriate mechanism for advocacy for the firm. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Claudia worked at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, where she acted as EU Policy liaison for their Markets Monitoring Department. Claudia also worked at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt and at the European Commission in Brussels. Claudia holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the ‘Université Libre de Bruxelles’ (ULB), a MSc in Economics from the University College London (UCL) and a MSc in Development Economics from the ‘University Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve’ in Belgium.

Rebecca Christie is a senior fellow at Bruegel, the Brussels-based economic policy think tank. She writes and speaks publicly about EU politics, financial regulation, tax and climate finance issues. Previously, she was the lead author on "Safeguarding the Euro in Times of Crisis", the official history of the European Stability Mechanism, and worked for more than 20 years as an economics and politics correspondent for Bloomberg News, Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times.
